AboutSiberian Branch of the National Center for Contemporary Art opened in Tomsk, March 25, 2013. Siberian Branch of NCCA - the first federal cultural institution in the city, he became the sixth in the structure of the NCCA and is responsible for the whole of Siberia. At a press conference on the occasion of the opening of the branch, was announced the reconstruction of the building, which will be located branch - the so-called "Gorokhovskiy warehouses" by architect Kryachkov on the waterfront Tom River.
Branch Director appointed Anna Tereshkova from Novosibirsk, a member of the Public Council under the Ministry of Culture of the Russian Federation, a member of the working group on modern culture together with Olga Sviblova, Joseph Backstein and other.
Since June 2014 the head of the branch appointed Vyacheslav Mizin (Novosibirsk), a member of the world-famous art group "Blue Noses", curator.
The activities of the NCCA-Tomsk includes the promotion and support of contemporary native art, various forms of exhibition and audio-visual projects, installations, performances, video screenings and, creative meetings. NCCA also engaged in analytical and educational activities - conducting lectures, seminars and master classes.
